EWLP 2024 | 17th European Workshop on Lignocellulosics and Pulp

Keynote speakers

Paul Dupree

Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge

Keynote lecture: Cellulose and hemicellulose structure and interactions in wood

Paul Dupree studies the biosynthesis, structure and interaction of cellulose and hemicellulose. These studies are revealing how cellulose surfaces may vary in their affinity for water and hemicellulose in wood, with implications for development of better wood products. He is professor of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge.
